How to read this map
The overall map uses the Storm Prediction Center's five risk levels, from Marginal (level 1) to High (level 5). Areas with only ordinary thunderstorms are shaded light green and have no level.
The tornado, wind and hail maps show the chance of that hazard happening within 25 miles of any point. A 5% tornado chance sounds small, but it is far above a normal day.
