About TornadoScanner

TornadoScanner answers two questions for any place in the US: is there a tornado threat here right now, and what tornadoes have hit here before?

The live map shows every tornado and severe thunderstorm warning and watch from the National Weather Service, with radar. Every county has its own page with each recorded tornado since 1950 on a map, charts of when tornadoes strike, and the most recent reports.
